10.8.08 It's a beautiful fall day today, and I really want to get outside and enjoy a bit of the beauty. That is exactly why I love having my own home based business and making money on the internet. I can pretty much set my own work schedule and be working at my computer when it works best for me.

I know I have written about this topic before, but I never cease to be grateful for this aspect of working at home. When you work from home, you can take breaks whenever you want or need to, you can take 5 and run to the store, run errands, just step away from your desk and enjoy a bit of the day, visit with your husband, wife or kids.

What a wonderful feeling of overall freedom comes from home based work!

It's easier to do your work when you are not stressed out or anxious about deadlines or a boss looking at you to see if you're busy or not; vacation when you schedule it...not when the other 20 people in the office get their vacation request in first; time to rest if you're not feeling particularly well that day; and most of all, just time to breathe.

Today, maybe I'll go out and take some pictures of nature around the area. Maybe some pictures of herons on the lake, or ducks; perhaps some hawks, turkey, or deer. I can take an hour and get out on the lake in my pontoon boat. I love the pontoon boat and being out on the water seeing all the wildlife, all the homes along the shore, breathing all the air of the great outdoors.

It certainly makes it much easier to come back to my desk and get busy with my online business when I can take some time out to recharge my batteries.
